Privacy Policy — Alexis Walter app

This policy explains what the Alexis Walter mobile app ("the app") collects and how it's used. The app is published by Alexis Walter Art L.L.C. ("we", "us").

The short version

The app has no accounts and no sign-up. We don't ask for your name, email, or any personal details. The only data the app sends off your device is an anonymous notification token, and only if you choose to turn on notifications. We don't track you, show ads, or sell data.

What we collect

  • Notification token. If you turn on notifications, your device generates an anonymous push token (provided by Apple's Push Notification service via our notification provider, Expo). We store that token, your device platform (e.g. "iOS"), and the dates it was created and last seen. This token lets us send you notifications; it is not tied to your name, email, or identity, and it is not your account with anyone.
  • Nothing else. The app has no login and collects no contact information, location, contacts, photos, or usage analytics. It contains no advertising or third-party tracking software.

We do not collect any data unless you turn on notifications. Browsing the app's content works without sending us anything that identifies you.

How we use it

The notification token is used for one purpose: to deliver notifications about Alexis's new work, studio updates, and special releases. That's it.

How content loads

The app displays public content (posts and images) from our server. These are ordinary anonymous requests for public content; they are not linked to you or to your notification token.

Who we share it with

We share the notification token only with the service providers that make notifications work:

  • Expo — our push-notification delivery provider.
  • Apple — operates the Apple Push Notification service that delivers messages to your device.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers or data brokers, or use it to track you across other apps or websites.

Your choices

  • Turn notifications off any time in the app's Updates tab or in iOS Settings → Notifications → Alexis Walter. Once off, we stop sending notifications.
  • Delete your data. Because the token is anonymous we can't look it up by name, but you can delete the app (which stops it from being used) or email us at info@alexiswalter.com and we'll remove the token on request.

Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above and post the new version at this page.
